I have a 1996 dyna fxds with a narrow front end what it's the best front end to go with to widen it duel disc

Change the right fork leg to one that has the tabs for a brake caliper. Buy a caliper, rotor, brake lines, and the 11/16 master cylinder and you're done.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 1996 dyna fxds had dual front brakes. Just get a Wide Glide CONVERSION triple tree for yer 39mm forks.

I want ro know what a convertion is and why you need room for your rotors ro fight each other?

I don't believe the wide glide ever came with 39 mm... They were all 41 mm Fork tubes...

There's a few companies that take your 39mm legs and spread them. But for similar coin you could upgrade from 39mm to 41mm and have less flex and better handling, or even go to 49mm. Just amounts to how much time and dollars you want to throw at it.
