Im sure the question has been answered but I cant seem to find what Im looking for. Can anyone help me I bought these wheels a while back and Im trying to see if anyone knows the measurements I need to verify if these are off of a 06-07 or off of a later model dyna. I think the rear is off of a 2014 dyna street bob special? Thats the only model I can find that has the mostly black wheel from factory but I could be wrong. The front I have no clue what year it is. Both of the bearing pockets seem to be the same depth of about 7/8 or 21-22mm. Im sure someone knows how to tell the year lol Im just trying to figure out if I will need the conversion spacer or no. Im getting ready to send them off to powder coat and Im going to buy all new hardware while Im waiting for them to come back. Im putting them on my 2013 street bob. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help it will be greatly appreciated!
Before you Powder Coat them you need to Mock Them Up on the Bike. Don't take someone's word on the Internet. Make sure they fit and Caliper/Rotor are properly aligned.
Thank you to the people who responded! And I know they will work, they’re off of a dyna and they make a conversion kit for pretty much everything and luckily enough I am a tig welder / fabricator and build custom bikes for a living I can definitely make it work lol but I admit I don’t have a lot of knowledge on the stock wheels. My question simplified is basically does someone know the difference in measurements between the 1” wheel and the 25mm. Basically so I can put my caliper on it and measure then just order the correct bearing and know if I need to get the adapter kit or not. I think the rear is a 25mm wheel so that should slap right on, but my front wheel I am unable if it’s 06-07 or newer. If it’s 06-07 I just need the conversion spacer since the bearing pocket is deeper. If it’s 25mm it’ll bolt right up. I daily this bike so I was hoping someone out there knows the measurement to tell the difference so I can just get what I need. Wheels are at powder but I wrote down the measurements. Again thanks for any help! I’m glad I finally joined the group I’ve only been building custom bikes for 15 years and riding Harleys for over 20 but there seems like there’s a lot of very knowledgeable guys on here and I’m happy I joined!
Harley makes a bearing shim for exactly your purpose (goes under the 1st installed bearing on brake rotor side). Along with 25mm bearings and a/your 2013 center spacer sleeve (it's a 08-later sleeve)
If you need a shim let me know
.
