Broke the qd on my fuel line.

As it's not stocked by the dealer it's gonna take about a week, I got a length of hose and have attached it with a hose clamp so that I could ride it in the meantime.

Have just been out on the bike and it seems tom be running really rough, almost as though its only running on one cylinder.

Could changing the hose cause this? the internal diameter appears to be the same.

 

Not sure, but I know a guy who is a dealer mechanic, and he told me the 07 dynas have a lot of problems with cams or cam timing which he said makes them run on one cylinder.

 

Did you get the clamp on tight enough? Maybe your sucking some air through it?

Just a thought.

 

Will do it up again today. Would it have been possible to get an air lock in it when it came off originally?
If so how do I get rid?

 

Do you have any pictures of what you attached the hose to? It maybe helful to see how you attached the hose.
