2003 FXDL Brake Disc Replacement
Hey riders,
My FXDL 100th Ann went in for its MOT today, and failed on having warped discs.. I'm going to check the thickness to make sure that it is warped discs and not just crud buildup but if they are warped how do I know how to replace them? I must have scanned the contents of my OEM service manual 10 times, it doesnt at all state how to change the discs, yeah it mentions the pads but nothing on discs? Anyone have a handy guide? Easy enough for an intermediate?

You have to remove the wheel to replace the brake rotor. Follow the procedure outlined in the service manual for wheel removal. The torque specification for the related fasteners are in the manual. Use new bolts and cross tighten them when replacing the rotors.
