So I’ve searched for days, spoken with many shops, many riders and have still come up empty handed. Will the 00-07 “ wagon” 9 spoke rear wheel from Electra/street glide /road king fit a 2005 wide glide? They’re both 16x3 wheels, I’m aware the bearings from the 9spoke are 1” and the wide glides are 3/4, easy change of bearings and spacers. But will the hub it’s self fit the swing arm? Random I know but apparently everyone I’ve asked has never thought of swapping one over 🤷♂️ it’s the cheapest wheel I can find close to me and in dire need of a new wheel.
I just put a 03 Softail Duce solid cast rear wheel on my 07 Dyna. 3/4 and 12 inch bearings have the same outer diameter and press right in. You will need the hub center machined out to fit the larger bearing spacer. The MoCo has been swapping wheels n parts for years to come up with new models.
