sissy bar

My '07 lowrider came with a sissy bar. If I wanted to remove it, will I need a spacer to fill in the gap?
I know my old honda needed one if I removed it. Thanks.

my 05 lowrider has a black "filler" between the fender and the fender strut, per haps the dealer has a some take offs that will fit yours. ride safe

I just installed a rigid mount side plate and medium low sissy bar on my 07 Low Rider. There was no spacer removed for the install. So, using reverse engineering, no spacer should be installed for the disassembly...Slightly oxymoronic post...Hope it helps...

No spacers that I'm aware of. I don't have a lowrider but I do havea super glide and there is no difference that I know of in the fender struts. I've now installed and de-installed rigid sideplates and installed detachable sideplates and at no point were there any spacers involved. When you remove the sideplates and replace and retighten the bolts, it should just pull the strut closer to the fender and take up the space left without the sideplates.
