Thanks again for the help. Dealer has a 2007 Dyna Lowrider that I find fits me perfectly. As I wrote in an earlier post, I'm about to buy it. Today I saw it in sunlight for the first time - it is the pewter pearl color. I don't mind it, but I've not seen many Lowrider colors. Any thoughts about the color choice? It seems to blend more than contrast, but I'm also trying to stay low in terms of profile when riding, so I don't mind blending in. On the other hand, the bike is a great looking machine, and I'd like to enhance it as much as possible. I realize black is the overwhelming choice for most bikes, but I'd like something a bit different.
I saw one of the Pewter bikes (can't remember if it was a Low Rider or not) and I thought it looked sharp. But it's your bike (potentially). If you like the color, buy it. If looking at it makes you ill, then go for something else (or make sure you'regetting enough of a discount to payfor a repaint).
the pearl is really cool in the sun. I went with black pearl for my night train, and am happier with the color than I thought it would be. It was not my first choice in color, but it grows on me a little more each day
Pewter pearl is a fine color, some guys on yhis forum have it and their bikes look great! I agree, the blackbags and trim will off set the pewter nicely. But really, if you don't like the way it looks, pay the extra $ for the one you want.
