Man those X-pipes are cool....I was wondering if anyone has used them and how much clearance they got from the pipe with both them and the passenger. My wife burns her foot....I'll never hear the end of it.
A buddy of mine has them on a fat boy and his wife definately has to wear a leather boot and she still complains about the heat. It is a cool sounding pipe and lives up to its name as a crack pipe.

The X-pipes look cool. They are not the same as the crack pipes (the crack pipes kind of look like a crack head's pipe in a weird sort of way), don't get them confused. See link. http://www.supertrapp.com/product_se...emID=138-71452
Here's a pic of the X-pipes on a 06 Dyna. I think you have to remove the rear pipe to check the oil dipstick.

And that right there is the tidbit of key information I was hoping I wouldnt hear, but am glad I did.
That would prevent me from buying them for sure. I check my oil constantly, and that could get old in a hurry.
Thanks..I would have missed that. I see that it appears to be in the way of the battery box, which that, well I would mind so much. Oil dipstick?? Thats a big one. But dang those pipes look sweet!

Yeah, they look great but I agree with theoil & battery box clearance issues. Plus, I bet they get darn hot on the leg, especially the passenger.

Ah...For some reason I thought they were crack pipes. Seems like I heard them called that somewhere. They have a crack to them though compared to my Rineharts.

RE: Supertrapp X-pipes
I like the look of the crack pipes a little better than the x-pipes. But, they do not compare to the phantom pipe. They are sharp. A little pricey, but still cool. http://www.supertrapp.com/product_se...at.asp?CatID=5
