Anyone got a FXDF Fat Bob yet. Just curious, mine due in last part of Sept. Can hardly wait, suspense is killing me.

Am planning on getting one. Dealer said today delivery of the first one (so I can ride one before I order) is pushed back to what he said is "Phase 2", so probably October or later, then I'll have to decide between Fat Bob or Street Bob. I'd like more pics "out in the real world" too.

My dealer said mine should ship to them on or aboutSept 21 & I should be able to pick it up the following week. Transit time from the factory to dealer should not be more then an hour

 

The guy in the sales dept. here is still saying they should have one for me to ride by the middle of Sept, that's just a week or so away.

Did your dealer(s) charge extra for forward controls on the Fat Bob?

One dealer I visited said it's $250 extra to order one in with forward controls vs mid-controls. I thought it was the same price for either and all the pictures, documentation shows front-controls as the default configuraton.

 

I'm not seeing anything at the HD website that mentions geeting mid controls, although in one section they do mention "either", but not showing any peg options on the spec sheet.

Well I saw one today, uncrated, on the floor in vivid black. Before today, I was really excited about this bike. AfterI saw it person...........I was not that impressed. First off the front tire looks a lot smaller (diam) than what they show in the pictures. I will need to look at it againwhoknow maybe it will growon me.
