Default Shocks needed for 2007 Lowrider

I bought a used 2007 Lowrider and when riding it, it felt like it had square wheels. It needs shocks. They can only be 11" long. I don't want cheap foreign made ones. But I don't think I want to pay $1000. for them. Suggestions??? The Progressive 412s seem to be the ones to fit my criteria. Are they any good? THANKS.

I replaced my shocks with Ohlins. Not $1000 but not cheap. This was after I tried some higher end Progressives. The 412's aren't much better than stock. Since you can only use 11" you've limited the amount of shock travel greatly, so you need something of quality.

You won't get a smooth ride with 11 inch shocks because there won't be enough suspension travel. It is what it is...

Why 11" shocks? Has it been lowered? My '07 has 12" shocks. They're not OEM, but I understand they are the same length. (I'm not thrilled with them so I won't recommend them...)

Yes, the bike has been lowered so my feet can reach the ground. Also I looked at the shocks that are on the bike now and they are Progressives, and they look like they are probably the 412s. Would the Progressive 430 shocks be much better or not?

You could go with a longer shock if you had a narrower seat to get your feet on the ground.
