Hows it going everyone? I have a real quick question to throw out there. I have an 06 Street Bob and am looking at putting 16 inch apes on it. I want to get all my cables ordered but needed some help on how much longer to go with everything. If anyone has some info for me that would be great! Thanks
I put 18" apes on my 06 SB and had to get +12s for the throttle and idle. Clutch I went with +14 but could have gotten by with +12. I don't remember the brake line but you caneasily measure that. Originally went with +6 but they weren't even close.
hello
I am searching the same thing. I have WD which has 10 inc ape on it. I looked up a lot of pics. I guess 16 inc seems to be the best one. Appreciate to have comments on it.

SE II's
Sissy bar
Engine guard
and a lot of chrome
best thing for you to do is go to ebay and look up complete kits for your bike. the cheapest way to go. i got all my cables, brake line, and fittings for $195
If you have the bars get yourself a piece of stiff but plyable wire and route it like you clutch cable...tape it at both ends go lock to lock on the forks and make sure you lenght is ok...than measure...with 16" apes it should be around 10" or 12" over if it's between sizes say 11" go a bit bigger....and than get the rest of your cables the same amount over....
