Does anyone know if the inner primary from a 2001 Wide Glide will fit a 2000 Super Glide? I have forward controls so I don't need to provisions for mid controls.

I'm no expert, and can't say for sure..... but....
The 2000 FXD and the 2001 FXDWG both are Dynas w/Twin Cam 88" engines & 5-speed transmissions. They both use primary cover gasket #60539-94B. They also both use the same inner primary housing cover hardware, housing cover O-Ring #11147B, Inner primary seal #12052B, and starter oil seal #12066A....
I'm pretty sure the inner primary housings will be interchangeable...
Don't spend money until you verify my guess...

Yes, it will fit. The inner primary housings for those two model years are the same part. Since you have forward controls, you won't have any issues with the mid-control mounting points.
Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I did the Ronnie's microfiche as well and was confused about the part number changes. I think in 2001 they got a 150mm rear tire instead of the 130mm that came on my bike but, I don't think the inner primary would have changed for that (?).

I dug out both primary's and the bolt pattern is different from 2000 to 2001 were it bolts to the transmission. If you take a quick look, it looks the same but it's not. Has nothing to do with the wider tire."
Ooops, just noticed it was your question on the other forum..
