ALOT of us on here are using the Big Sucka from Arlen Ness including myself. I like mine, and yes, you will need a re-tune after install. Many different types of tuners you can go with, and it really depends on how much you plan to do to your motor, as to how much adjustability you need. Might as well do your pipes at the same time prior to tuning.

The Ness Big Shot is made for them by Doberick Performance and it's basicly a gen 3 DFO. It plugs into your fuel injector's electrical lines and includes bypass connectors for the stock O2 sensors. I just installed a Rev Tech DFO (digital fuel optimizer) on my 07 Streetbob and it works great. The Big Shot is a fancier unit with more adjustability. All these units will do is enrichen your stock fuel curve. If you only plan on a high flow air cleaner & high flow exhaust, these units work great. If you plan on head work & cams then you probably want to go with a unit that lets you create your own maps.
