Will it fire using starting fluid?

What kind of coil does it have, single or dual fire? If single, try reversing the plug wires.
it’s got a Daytona twin tech tc88 ignition kit on it, came with coil, programmable ignition, plug wires, wiring harness and button for 2 step launch control. This was installed and in good working order prior to big bore install.

Sounds like the plug wires are swapped.

Did you check compression?

Pushrods adjusted too tight?

compression is good, blows my finger off both plug holes. I could re-check push rods again.

the plug wires aren’t swapped, the same set up ran the stock engine just fine and I didn’t disconnect any of the ignition during this build, just pulled the wires off the plugs and taped them out of the way.

When was your finger last calibrated?

Roller rockers?

Bottom plug wire goes to the front cylinder?

Are the switches set on the DTT? It's brand new?

Put in new colder plugs, a new battery and backed off all the settings I was told to do on the mikuni hsr-45 carb (25 pilot 170 main, air fuel out two turns which I was told was still too little for 100” engine 🤷🏻‍♂️) and finally got it to fire, seems the battery was crap and not providing enough and it was choking on too much fuel. Re-adjusted the air fuel to out a turn and a quarter and it fired up finally. Seems I need to play with the carb more because it still seems like too much fuel. Any advice on that would be super helpful as I’ve set up carbs just never this specific mikuni.

Thank you all for the help so far, it is very much appreciated.

Yeah, usually the battery guys jump on hard starting right away.. Not sure why they didn't on this. I assumed the battery was good. If the idle air bleed is already out 2 turns and still too rich, I'd try a thicker needle.. Stock should be a 97, try a 98. Make sure the enricher cable is not hanging up.
