Default Big Bore 110 kit?

I'm looking at a 98 RKC with a Screamin Eagle Big Bore 110 kit installed by a dealer.

Good? Bad?

Does it hurt reliability? How hard would it be to convert to a carb?

Any time you make radical changes to a motor you get less reliability.

To convert EFI to carb you need tanks, intake, and a carb.

A M&M EFI won't support a 110" got some wrong info in this one and not aware of a engine that big unless it has aftermarket cases

I don't think you can get an Evo out to 110". I stroked mine to get 89" and seriously looked into going bigger, but that wasn't practical on stock cases. Sputhe and another firm (don't recall) made cases that would combine with a stroker kit to give 106/107". Even a 110" TC seems unlikely for that year as that would involve a long-stroke crank. More info please!

Yeah, no kit a dealer can install, but you can just outright buy an engine and install it. When I bought my Dyna I thought long and hard about hot rodding it, and was was surprised at the limitations of the stock cases. The aftermarket is FULL of giant motors that fit your chassis. You will have to switch to carb though. The great thing about Evo's is the cost of complete motors are very on par with the cost to simply upgrade a Twinkie. So if the bike your looking at has a dealer installed 110, its not a 1998 Road King.
