Default 2008 Anniversary Edition vs 2010

Hello again,
I posted a little while ago looking for advice on a couple different bike I was looking at. Well, the one I settled on got snatched up before I pulled the trigger. So the hunt continues. I am looking at couple now a fairly stock 2008 Anniversary Edition and a modified 2010 (apes, intake V&H short shots, upgraded rear suspension, etc.). My question is if anyone had strong feelings of the "redesign" of the 2010+ models compared to the previous gen. I know they both have the 96ci etc, but the frame design, lowering etc is different. Beyond personal tastes in styling, does the redesign significantly change the feel from the 2008 and earlier versions. I had an '05 so I am familiar with that gen feel. Have never ridden a post 2010 WG. Or should I look at the Anniversary edition just because it is an Anniversary edition?
Thanks. P.S. They are both in good shape and pricing is not too far off though the 2010 is at an HD dealer so it is priced a bit higher than I think it should be.
Thanks

The last major change for the Dyna was in 06 when the frame was changed, along with introducing the 96 inch motor to the Dyna. Except for bigger motors, It stayed that way until the Dyna was "reborn" to a softail in 2018. I'm not aware of any redesign in 2010, which isn't saying much. Maybe someone here has a better memory than me.
Anniversary Edition is any bike in that year, but you didn't mention which model, just the WG for 2010. A WG will feel and ride different than the other models of the same year.

I might be mistaken, but I thought, and AI seems to think that HD took a Hiatus from making the Wide Glide and skipped the '09 year to come back in 2010 with a lower seat height, shorter wheel base, a little longer rake and redesigned front end. I could be wrong, and we are all aware that AI perfectly flawless with its information LOL.

I'm assuming you're talking about Wide Glides specifically. The '08 and '10 Wide Glides are mechanically and functionally the same, the difference is mostly just cosmetic. Black wheels, black motor parts, different rear fender, exhaust, bars etc.

Didnt the 2010 have that funky looking rear fender? AFAIK that was one of the only "major" changes.
Personally, Id rather have the bike thats closest to stock and has less mods done to it.
