I recently ditched the factory tank gauge and used a Guerilla Cable harness setup to add a tach and speedo up on the bars where I can actually see them.
After sourcing all the right parts, the install was easy enough.
Only problem is that the ABS light is now on and I DO NOT have ABS.
anyone know how to deal with this? I called the nearest dealer (2hrs away) and they didnt have any idea..
Is it the original gauge relocated, or a new gauge? Do you have information that you can use to figure out what is "telling" the light to be on? Maybe the cable maker can shed some light on it.

I think that's key right there. If it's the same sppedo you had on the bike and the light wasn't on before, then it shouldn't be now. And your dealer is FOS, ABS can be "turned off" in the ECM since it was an option on your bike.

Its not the original gauge, but it is HD. The ECM thing makes sense, Ill see if I can talk to someone different at the dealer.
Is there some sort of flash software that would allow me to do this myself?

Why did you change it? How many miles have you ridden since you swapped the gauge? I know there is a time period before the gauge marries to your ECM, I think it's 31 miles.
