Anyone pay msrp OTD ? on a 07' or 08'Super Glide Custom, Or am I asking to much from the dealer that is making money at msrp. I know they'll discount a left over 07' alittle. Are HD's still in high demand to pay more than msrp. Thanks

 

I paid MSRP for my 07. Dealers, I'm told, don't have a lot of room from HD to discount them unless they are trying to move prior year models.However, I'm told and have seen them marked up over MSRP before. I wouldn't pay above MSRP for a FXDC though - should be plenty to go around. The one thing dealers can negotiate with is clothes, accessories, and service. For example, some dealers around here charge $250 to $500 for "pre-delivery setup" (BS in other words) and then turn around and give you $500 in store credit for buying a new bike. The dealer I went to doesn't charge anything extra but gave me nothing back either. I paid MSRP plus tax, title, and tags.

 

Local dealer here is offering a discount on '07's that are left, (not many) and $1,000 gift certificate for use at the dealership.
