MSRP with free freight and set up without documentation fees is what I'd expect. Well that's what I pay at the dealer I go to in Ottawa, Ohio. Your buying in prime season so they may play hard ball with you. just be willing to walk out the door if you don't get what I've mentioned.
Thanks guys, I too think that with the credit crunch and people afraid to buy along with lots of used bikes, they should be willing to move a little on 09's. when do the 10's start coming around.

The 2010s should come out in the beginning of July, due to this economy you should be able to get a price well below MSRP. When I was at the parts counter last week at my local stealer, the guys there were talking about how almost half of their staff had been laid off because of no business.
Of course they'll negotiate (if you let them). If you walk in, bend over and spread, then they'll stick it to you; however, if you remember that you have all of the power, then they will eventually deal. If enough people walk away from dealers who won't budge, then dealers will go hungry. Don't walk into a dealership thinking, "I'm going home with a bike." Instead think, "I'm walking away if they don't give me a good deal." If Dealer A won't deal, Dealers B or C or D will. Just be patient. Remember, you can alway keep riding what you have or buy a used bike and save money over new. I saved $3k on my bike and got a $500 gift card + 3 T-shirts.
. . .and as far a paying $3k over sticker for a Camaro, I'd tell the dealer to shove it. Only a fool would pay over sticker for any car (isn't GM going bankrupt?), bike, or any other commodity.

Buddy just bought his wife a Sportster for $1300 off the sticker price, another bud getting $11500 trade on his 03 RK for an 09 Ultra with $1100 off sticker.

Watch on EBAY, I am telling you we sold 2 last week, one to IL, one down south some where.
If you want give a GM dealership a call and ask how much they will discount a 2010 camaro 8 cyl.
i just bought an 09 rocker myself. and they had almost every bike in the store, marked down by 1500$. i think the price was going to be 27,885 with the stage one installed. and the passenger pillon as well. and i told them id buy it, if it was 26g, tax in. so i got the original 1500$ off, plus another 1,885$.
and before anyone calls me an idiot for paying that much. keep in mind that im in canada, and our prices are higher here for some reason. and now that i think about it, they might not be. i looked for used rockers in the states, and they were all around 20g, the same price as up here.
