I was wondering if the new 2008 air cleaners would fit on my 2006 Street Bob. I don't have a Stage 1 or anything. I like the look and shape of it better than the football I have on now. It should be just a plug and play, right?

 

I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think the '08 will work on the '06. My buddy's got an '07 SB, and I have an '08 SGC, and we looked over our stock cleaner set-ups. They were different. I don't remember exactly what the differences were, but it didn't appear they would work. I'm sure you'll find others on here who have a better answer for ya though...

Thanks, I figured I'd call the stealership and find out what they thought and they also said it wouldn't fit. I guess it's plan B, now.

I also have Khrome Werks mufflers and a Power Commander USBII. All together it was the best mods I have ever donre and made a bunch of difference in the power at all speeds. Plus I really like the looks os the Harley air cleaner and it is about a $100.00 cheaper then the other barands that look the same. Well made and solid - great chrome.
