I'm offering this paint set to 'yall first since I value the info that I have learned here.

This set is going on ebay next week for $1400.00. I will sell this to a forum member for $1000.00.This set is brand new, complete with special touch up paint and has never been on a bike. It sells for $2400.00 retail.

I bought this thinking that it fit my 07 FXDC. It does fit but I would have to spend $$ to change the speedo mount, tank guts, etc.

This will fit Dynas that have the single fuel gauge and gas filler cap in the center console.

I would be all over this set if it would fit my bike but it won't.

I understand how 'yall feel becuse it was a major bummer when I found out it would not fit. The dealer that I bought it from would not take it back either...

You bought it at a dealer and it doesn't fit your bike and they won't take it back? Did you tell them what you bike was? If so their F#*&k-up abd should give you a refund.

 

Don't see the problem with the Top View photo, what might it be.

2 Ans:

1. I bought it from an HD dealer on ebay. I asked if it fit a 07 FXDC. They (parts mgr)said it did. Tried for 3 months to get them to do the right thing and give me a refund....owner of dealership said no way.

2. Top photo: This is not a fat bob tank for an 07 FXDC. The fat bob tank has the fuel filler on the right side of the tank and the gas guage on the left. In addition, on the fat bob tank the IGN and speedo are on the center console.

 

Beautiful tins...but they wont fit my FXDLR.. and as far as the stealer is concerned.. they oughta do right by you... I know you said they wouldnt... glad it aint me... the whole thing would probably get physical and something would get broken... like say... someones head for instance.... [:@]

 

This will fit any 06-07 dyna that has the Fuel Filler Cap and Gas Gauge on the center console. This tank type is listed in the 07 DYNA Repair manual as well.

If you look at your current center console and see the fuel gauge and fuel cap, then this will fit your bike. If you were to pull off your center console, you should see a similar top view of the tank that matches what I have posted.
