Welcome back to riding & nice choice on the bike. How do you like the Corbin seat?
Hmm, the Corbin Seat...you know when I had the sporty, everyone kept going on and on about the Corbin Seats, well at first it was extremely uncomfortable. I mean after about 20min everything goes numb....now it takes a good 30 min for everything to go numb. But it sure looks good on the bike..lol.
I'm a big guy, so upgrading to the 440 shocks helped a bit with the ride, but I could use a seat with a bit more padding....lol
Saddle Bags on a Bob! [sm=insomnia.gif] - I'm kidding... I just figured I would beat someone else to the punch! That is a nice looking Bobber you got there. I also have the two skulls on top of my tank so I'm a fan of the look. Also, props on the horn cover - I haven't seen that on a bike around here yet so you get bonus points for originality!
That's why I got the throw overs...I can take them off really quick, though the black denim will scuff a bit where the bags hit the paint. I got the bags after spending a day riding my wife called me up and told me to pick some things up at the hardware store, and knowing I was on the bike...figured I wouldn't have any way to get the things home. LOL. She's still not too happy with me getting another bike!
I found that horn cover on the web and it's awesome. I plan on adding some Howards Duo Horns this winter since the compressor fits under the horn cover....I'm still not sure how it's going to look....but it should be different!
Feels good to be back in the saddle donât it?
I like that Dakota Digital Speedo / tachometer.
A tachometer would be nice addition to my ride.
It's a great upgrade, it hasa lot of features that I haven't even begun to use. 0-60 times, 1/4 times, adjustable speedo (in case I get a speeding ticket), etc. The only hang up is that it took both shop manuals especially the wiring manual and about 5 hours to get it wired into the harness. The Dakota Digital for the Fat Bob Tanks is plug and play...this one for the smaller speedo is not. It is nice having a tack...I should have taken pics along the way and wrote up an installation report.
