'04 Super Glide with V&H Big Radius and Screamin' Eagle A/C. Installed powercommander with proper map for my setup...runs GREAT!!
I just added the "accelerator pump" feature with default "street" settings and can really feel the acceleration improvement. I just wondered who else has "accelerator pump" feature installed and what settings you are using?
I first ran the setup for an 07 Super Glide with SE AC and 1.75 Rush pipes, even though my pipes were 2 inch pipes. It didn't really run good. Didn't have the accelerator pump set up with that one.
Then I installed the SE AC and SE Slipons setup and added the accelerator pump with it. It runs like a bat out of hell now! I think I may need to back off a little on the sensitivity of the pump as the throttle may be a little too responsive and the fuel milage has dropped a good bit. But I will surely keep the pump. May also cut down on the rear cylinder trim a little and the front trim a little less.
Still playing though and the real answer may be to turn overall trim up about 10 percent or so and then also cut the sensitivity on the pump back about halfway. That is my gut feeling at the time.
This is fun. Gotta say this bike screams this way!!! Outran a 2006 or 07 Pontiac GTO off a light to 60 with this setting. I ALWAYS back off at 55 and fully off at 60. That is one fast car and the guy has tinkered with it as well since it was even louder than the bike. It was a great race, and when it ended and we got to the next light we smiled and nodded at one another and then just took off normally the next time.
Yep! Songsmith has tempted me to do the accel pump download. I was curious about this as mine is an 06 with fuel injection. I thought that mod was for the carburated crowd.

I say do it. I'm going for a check out ride this afternoon, but from my preliminary observations (runnig in the driveweay and around the block once) it seems to be running OK. I thought it was only for injected bikes. Although there is a accelerator pump on carbs, Q-Jet's, Holly's, etc.
Seems to be a bit better, with accelerator pump feature added. I tried splitting the difference in the values for a starting point, seemed a little off. Went to the standard street settings and it seems a bit better. Still got a bit of 'fine tuning' it appears. Probably ride around with the lap topAnd the decelleration popping(from the stealers tune-up) is all but gone.Of course seat of the pants is no dyno... Anybody got one of the new Power Commander Tach display/ tuner units?
