How do you steal a Harley??
Like most say, if someone wants it they will get it. The best thing to do is to make sure your insurance is up to date and covers everything!
Sad but true...
But then again, that someone trying to steal my bike has got brass ones, and he deserves to keep it if he gets it.
Realistically, either I'm on it, or it is parked in my garage. Have you ever noticed, it's funny how dogs will save energy, they'll let you come down the drive, watch you hop over the fence, sit quitely while watching you get closer, then when the timing is right...
Run Forest, Run !!!
Yeah, auto, bike, and homeowners insurance are up to date, got it covered for those unwanted visitors.
Only in America can you either go to jail or get sued for protecting your own property, go figure...
The only real way to keep it from happening is either a 357 magnum, 44 magnum, 12 gauge shotgun etc...to the head of the sorry theives stealing it.....Shooting someone who is stealing your transportation is in no way wrong.....Horse theives were HANGED years ago, back before folks became deballed by liberalism, and political correctness.....My wife shot a guy who broke into her aunts house where she was staying whilst attending nursing school.....That cat will never try that again.....He made a very bad decision !She's a tennessee girl, and was raised right.
You'd have to warn, then he would have to come at you in a threating mannar.
Here in California, you can have all that and still go to jail...
LOJACK!
I had that installed on my Super Glide before it ever left the dealer. I wasn't about to waste time with an alarm or any other theft deterant device...IMHO that is just throwing money down the toilet, because once it's gone, it's gone. You either need to catch them while they are stealing it, or have eyes everywhere and ears to the ground for who may have stolen your bike. I talked to a couple guys from Lojack at a rally earlier this summer and they said the majority of bikes recovered via the Lojack also led authorites to at least 5-6 other stolen bikes as well. I see it as not only doing yourself a favor, but other bikers as well. The system is expensive, but well worth the money and with today's thefts of motorcycles it should be the first upgrade a guy buys on a new bike...or any for that matter, especially in a large city.
