What are the differences between the Super Glide and the Low Rider? Does the LR have more chrome, are there many differences, different bars?

 

Hey Jake, as you know, I have the FXDC. If you're looking to do an even trade, I'll be happy to fly back home, and trade it up with ya!!!

Seriously though, I'm not sure of the differences other than bars, ride height, tach, chrome looks about the same...

I see you have a nice low rider ..
The super Glide Dyna is what I would consider the starting point of the Dynas .
They are the cheapest to buy .
The SG as far as I can see has a lot less chrome (no chrome on side covers,side engine covers,tank ,no riser on handle bars ,belt guard is also black I believe .)
The seat is different ( solo) sets you in the saddle different,
along with the handle bars ,.
Sg also has a black housing head lite .
I believe the rake is less on the SG verses the Low Rider ,
May be more .
The SG has the speedometer mounted on top of the handle bars and no tach..
Also the gas tank has 2 chrome covers on the low riderand a fuel gauge .
The SG has a lot less color choices .
This is what I see and there may be others .

 

Trading isn't quite what I had in mind, but I'll keep you in mind...LOL! I was just curious as I don't know the difference between the different versions of the FXD. December? I'll be home in 11 days for a little R&R and some bike riding!

70Mach1, my bike did come with the solo, I just added the Sidekick Custom for the rare times my wife will be riding with me. I know it isn't the most comfortable, but it looks good...typical guy move...lol
