Default Front Heat Shield
Need some help here guy's. I just put forward controls on my 07 low rider and removed the mid mounts. Now I have a dent in the front heat shield where the mid mount was. Does anyone make a front heat shied withoutthat dent?

Just order the heat shield for the WideGlide (comes stock with forwards)........ It is about $60 from Harley, or try getting a used one/take off.

Your heat shield is probably gonna crack at the cutout anyway...... been my experience.[8D]

dougsdyna his heatshield for 07 is indented not like the 06 where its notched out guess hd had to replace enough shields so they changed desighn.yeah mine cracked at the notch to straight down .had the dealer replace it under warranty with the wg shield

I've got the same thing on mine. Hasn't bothered me - I got used to it and it doesn't seem others really notice it.

Check yer dealer they usually have a bunch of take offs laying around...

Does anyone know 100% that a wide glide shield will fit the other dyna's? Obviously it wouldn't fit a Fat Bob, but the others?

Wideglide shields fit, just had them fitted myself, no pics but heres someone elses bike with them.

Ive got a low rider, I had the dealer install forward controls and replace the front heat shield with the wide glide shield, it fits fine.
