I am actually thinking about changing pipes for something louder/deeper. I was ok with the slip-ons until my ridding buddy got a set of roush(sp?) for his street glide and those sound awesome but I don't like the look. I heard a set of big shot staggered the other day at the dealership and I think they are just what I am looking for. Oh well, radio comes first, got's to have my tunes for this long commute.
I put the V&H Slip-Ons on my 07 FXDC when it was 1 week old.
I then fitted the V&H quiet baffles about 2 months later purely because the bike wasn't really running that well with no back pressure (International spec remember)
The quiet baffles made a big difference, the bike runs a LOT better, and is still loud when giving it some beans but with a nicer sound than with the standard baffles, which sounded a bit harsh & rough, but is a bit quiter on lighter throttle openings.
