Another FATBOB Sighting!
NO picture here........ You gotta see one for yourself.
I was at the Stealership spenting money on stuff, and checking on a parts order, and inquired again for 100,000nth time about when they might get a FatBob in to see.
Parts guy pointed me in the right direction (could have tripped over the thing coming in the front door).
Anyway, pictures do NOT do this baby any justice at all. The FatBob is beautiful!!!!!!!!!(this one was black)
Somebody at HD had their pencils sharpened and eyes wide open when they sat down to draw this one up. Yeehaw!
This bike so unjunked up, and clean looking and simple. Very easy on the eyes.
Nice to sit on (with a real seat), and look at. This is no up and down the street looking machine, it is begging to hit the twisties and open road.
It was $15,485 with security system. Altough they are very nice, the handle bars are the only thing I would change out, right away (and mirrors).
This bike is awsomely plain, but pretty.
Well I got see the thing, went out with my new gloves to the 06 Superglide, and realized why I liked the FatBob so very much. It reminded me of my SG.
If I could just own 3 Harleys= My 06 FXD, 08 FatBob, and pretty much any year RoadKing (all of them black, of course).
Why would anybody prefer a softy tail??
Just to note: I have been running into Honda Shadow owners, and they are complimenting my (pretty much run of the mill FXD)Dyna, and asking tons of questions, and slipping up saying how they really want a Harley. Sure am glad I owned a sweat little Honda V30, cause I can tell them straight faced what a great bike they have (just ain't a Harley).
