Also, thefat that pwoer commander holds the land speed record (combined with LOTS of folks on here who swear by them) should tell you something about them. I'm outta here
-clutch-
Well since I'm not looking to set any "land speed records" my
SERT will do just fine for me.

As far as stealerships go, hey,

I'm sure there are a few out there with great service.

I'm also sure if you were to poll most folks on this forum,

you'd find an overwhelming number of people

who feel the way I do about them. .

.................................................. ...........
So I see that you actually posted the poll about
30 minutes after you boasted this.

Poll says --

you're wrong.

Just bought a used '07 Bob and the guy I bought it from said he had the chip reprogrammed by the dealer in his area and it has V&H Shortshots and can't tell what A/C it has. It's a harley but don't know if it's stock. So...it's a mess. Runs strong but pops.

Went to Glendale Harley and the service manager said they're not allowed to install SERTs but said they'd do the PC.

I'm thinking about getting the K/N and PC from FuelMoto as I like the prices and heard nothing but great things about them. I don't want anything fancy. Just wantthe bike to run good without popping and know that I'm not running anything that's going to cause future damage from being too lean. I could care less about HP and torque for now.

Guess it does seem there are a majority out there who have found reputable dealers. Actually I'm glad to see that too. It lets me know I may just run accross some decent dealers (not stealers) out there. After I made the post you're quoting I got to thinking about it and decided to see. It is a pleasent surprise, but at 37% negative results last time I checked the poll you have to admit there must be quite a few stealerships out there as well. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised...after all dealers, wrenches, etc are people too....some are great...and some are "duds"

If I had to choose between SERT or PCIII, at this point, I'd go with the SERT.

However, in my opinion, the thundermax auto-tune makes the SERT/PCIII argument moot.

While I have the PCIIIon my scoot,
if I were to do it over, I would go with the SERT.
If for no other reason, because there is
no additional hardware on the bike to go bad.
No additional connectors to get water logged
and corroded, etc., etc. Should one of these
situations occur on my bike, I'll remove the
PCIII and go with the SERT.
