Tanks off, got the harness cover off, got the black and white "amp multilock electrical connectors" apart. How do I get the three wires out of the connectors?

Thanks Shawn

that connector comes apart.... look closely..... you've got stick long skinny things in it to do it..... you'll get lost and confused if someone on here tries to explain it.... you gotta get a service manual.... it has graphics, and it'll show you

Go to your local Auto Parts store and buy a Terminal Extractor Pick. They come in a few sizes, but I believe the one that you need is a Standard No#HP7010 .050'. It is very easy to do with this tool and it only costs a couple of bucks.

Cutting and splicing is good. Cut close to the frame and just stuff the splices back in the hole. You took your tank off??

You need a very small screw driver or pick. There are small tabs on the opposite side from where the wires come in. Insert the screw driver from the opposite side and try to lift up on that tab. Pull gently on the wires, when you get it right the wire will come out easly. Good luck.
