Tail lamp Question?
I want to change my tail lamp to get ride of the clear portion on the top as I am going to relocate my plate to the side of the bike on my 08 Super Glide. However I do plan on keeping the tail lamp where it is at for now. Does anybody know of a fix ??

All I can think of is paint the clear part in some creative way such that it blocks the light and still looks good. All the light is coming from one bulb so I don't see another solution if you aren't looking to replace the tail light.

Kuryakyn makes a smoked tail light with a red bulb, which is a bit different than the LED smoked units out there. It is meant to fit the curvature of the fender better, and has no clear part on top. I would think you could contact them and ask them to make you a stock red one....who knows...they might just do it. OR they may have a plain red one that fits all Dyna's already.
Just make sure your state doesn't have any law regarding side-mounted license plates, or anything but stock tail lights. I just learned today that both are illegal in my state (New Hampshire).
