Has anyone tried to install HD 74718-07 Combination Speedometer/Tachwith Spun Aluminum Faceon an older Wide Glide? I have a 2005 and think it would look great.

 

it will not work, i tried i also have a 05 wideglide, and just bought a nega speed/tack looks great its all about the harness

 

How do you like it. Is it worth the money??? Does your odometer stay lit all the time. I read somewhere that the milage stays lit all the time. Did you install it yourself?
If so, did it just plug in as it says in the HD catalog. Been looking at one for a year or so, just hate to spend that much and be disappointed.

 

i bought mine from chicago h.d. you get 20% off and they order it from h.d. with the milage you state you want it took ten days, all h.d. dealers have to order them they come from h.d. with calibrated miles, i love mine, and yes i put it on myself, and i am not a mech, it is simple plug and play and everything works the same as your stock one
