Back in 1995 I ordered one of their seats for my Honda ST1100. It was a great seat.
I ordered one of their seats when I had a 2004 Sportster. It would not stay locked down and Corbin tried blaming HD and their MFG tolerances.
Needless to say I sent it back to them. Not only was their product crap but their customer service was even worse.
I would rather ride without a seat than to give them my business not because of the quality of their product but because of their horrendous customer service.
I have a Hollywood Solo on my 05 Super Glide. The first time i tried to take it off I had a similiar experience. After an extensive display of profanity, with the key turned I just yanked the seat upwards and it popped right off. With the seat off I examined the guillotine the key and cable perform to unlock the seat, and at least on my seat and my bike, it is pressed to fit that tight. The thing is kind of hard to install as well. I decided that I liked the snug fit and lack of slop- the bike shakes enough.
I have one on a Lowrider. I was having problems with the key and getting it off the pin. I found that the screws that hold the latch portion under the seat were loose. Real loose. In fact they finally fell off. So I got new screws, and locktited them. Works great now.
