Finaly got me a kick *** bike. Wife was not so impressed though, when I showed up @ home with a bike she gave me no permission to purchase.

It would be pointless for you to try to reason with her,

or argue about it.

Just dicker.

loghog; u were smart not to ask permission, forgivness is far more simple to obtain. I hinted and joked about my bike for 5 years then the wife said buy it already man. now I will try your approach for the 115hp 103" kit i found for $4000 installed pipe included.

caveman nice to hear from you - first post.

Welcome a board.

Great eye you have there,
I just changed the sig pic about 20 minutes ago.

The new sig pic is with WideGlide forks - 2 1/2" longer tubes.
Nothing wrong at all with the slid down stock tubes -
handled great, lower center of gravity, looks good,
give it a try. Just takes a few minutes to go back and forth.

I change the machine around on almost a daily basis.
Sig pic only gets changed on a yearly basis or so.

You didn't mention the different pipes and shox.
I just removed the customized tank and fenders for paint.
Only a few daze back with the shiny black HD parts.

I had the same thing when I bought mine - was in the doghouse for awhile but its still worth it. At the time someone in my office gave me a copy of a bike ad that really made me laugh: "For Sale - 2007 Harley, 250 miles perfect condition, must sell - at the time of purchase I didn't quite understand what it meant when the wife said 'do whatever the @#% you want' ".

Beautiful bike - enjoy (and try not to feel too guilty - it'll pass)
