2007 fxd superglide international model set up
I have just had my 1500 service done and now ready to put on after market parts, which are
Vance & Hines 2 inch big radius
Vance & Hines fuel pack
K & N RK-3910 HI flow filter
Now the problems
1. My dealer has stated that because intenational models has active intake / exhaust system and the US bikes don't, the bike from harley has a different map, and the map from Vance and hines will need to be changed to suit international maps
2. disconnecting these systems will cause the check engine light to come on.
the dealer is trying to sell me a sert instead of using the fuel pack because it would eliminate the check lights, but my reseach shows no diference.
has anyone worked out a bypass for these wires, is there anything being sold to plug in and bypass the system.
I had conatced V&H but no reply from them.

Gday Joe, go to the Aussie forum mate join up and all your problems will be solved https://www.hdforums.com.au/ look for Big Joe Choppers he sells the part you need to kill the error codes.

www.nightrider.com these guys good on maps - also there is mapping info in our homegrown forum some of the guys there are doing good things and willing to help out........good luck with it and make sure you register
