I have the P3AT myself. Great little gun. I got it not only because I like to collect and shootguns(pistolsmainly),but it's the smallest .308 that I've seen yet and thekeltecs have a good reputation.
i think you ment .380, not .308
i carry ammo too, a P3AT, but i dont use it to throw at cars...
Try this little trick, just put your left blinker on. Works most of the time. You can also use your hand and give the slow down/back off signal. Whatever you do, DON'T BRAKE! The left turn signal trick will make most tailgaters back off a little and then you can move out of their way. If nothing else, it will aggravate the crap out of them. But wait, cell phone, ipod, music that goes thump-thump, and all the other distractions and you get lost in the clutter. Dial 911 and tell them you've just been hit by an aggressive driver and give them their license number.
Most of this occurs on freeways where everyone is jockeying for position. Just ride safe.
Paint Ball automatic works just fine,,, That will scare the crap out of any driver...... Man when the paint ammo hits a soft spot of the drivers door... its freakin loud!!!! for professional us only...please do not attempt this at home or with small children.
I admit that the idea is tempting, and I've heard of plenty of guys who claim that they carry bearings, but there are too many cars out there now that will out-run our bikes. Still, I've seen a brain-dead cager take down my father on his new bike, so the idea of a little "street" justice is hard to dismiss completely.

A ziplock baggie of urine spattered on the hood could leave a memory......
...not that I thought of it first, it's an old trucker trick since they pee going down the road and tend to collect 'em anyway.....[sm=smarty.gif][sm=sorry.gif]
