The Rockies and Red Sox met in a three-game series during Interleague Play at Fenway Park, June 12-14. After losing Game 1, 2-1, to Tim Wakefield, Colorado took the final two games of the series, outscoring the Red Sox, 19-3. A recap of the three-game series:

I've also been a Pats fan since 1970 - about when I was the only Pats fan in the world. I lived 20 minutes from Foxborough back then (High School), and got into quite a few games free because they couldn's SELL the tickets back then. I KNOW I was the only Pats fan in SEA among a 600 man squadron ... gotta love what they're doing this year! Jeez, Brady to Moss, Stallworth, Welker ... it's magic, man. Pure magic. Enjoy it while you have it, cuz it just can't last. History in the making.
Not a baseball fan, but I started watching the Sox during thier 2004 season - maybe a 3rd into it. Couldn't help comparing them to the 2001 Pats. Bunch of no-names playing their hearts out. My favorite guys were Millar and Trot Nixon, who reminded me of Pigpen in the Charlie Brown cartoons. Amazed myself when I started watching every minute of every game I could see ... and yes, I watched to 1:30 in the a.m. ...
It's an amazing year for NE fans ...
