GeorgeJ: The seat is a Danny Gray long haul solo; good luck on that...I got it on eBay; it is very comfortableand holds me in place when the throttle gets twisted hard. The bike will carry the front wheel just off the ground through second gear and pop of the ground going into third. It's a real rush to ride and works like a charm two up throught the mountains even in 90+ heat. Also seems to run smoother with the Sputhe engine mounts; I know they help the handling...
im a little scared to go past 100mph! definatly a rush on a bike!!
Yep!! Problem with cruisers at high speed seems to be keeping ones feets on the pegs. Just over 100 mph and my feet want to be wings.
Seems to be less of a problem at 120, but after awhile those speeds are no fun anymore.

Good argument for mids! Lose those forward controls Doug!
No mids for me. That is what my passenger pegs are for, turns the bike into a crotch rocket, and change of position on long rides.

I have got to try that! Just as I was getting used to braking and shifting with my heels off my hi-way pegs, a new riding technique emerges ! [sm=burnout.gif]
_NOT_ being there, bearing witness, smelling the fuel and tires burning, seeing the smoke... feeling / hearingthe thunder, and trying like hell to hold on for the duration, getting that massive rush from goin fast, and cheatindeathheh... (c:
