Which pipe will give better performance?
I like that I can change the baffle in the pro pipe.
Which pipe wont turn colors?
Anyone in NNJ with either of these pipe that I can see and hear? Thanks
Pound for pound, Id take the Fatcat any day, designed and build better and sounds awsome!
(get standard baffle here)^^^
the VH pipe has a good track record, and is cheaper.
I dont think you will go wrong either way.
I had a VH Pro-pipe that turned all sorts of ugly colors of yellow and brown. I switched it out for a Fatcat which never turned colors, fit perfect, sounded great, and felt stronger.
I had the standard baffle, and it was pretty loud with a deep gurgle when letting off the throttle. The quiet baffle is supposed to make the best torque numbers according to some dynos posted on the touring board.
quiet baffle will still have quite a bark when on the throttle and has the gurgle when letting off too. i was going to buy the big radius 2 into 1, but it was on backorder and opted for the fatcat/quiet bafflewith a k&n filter without any regrets. throtle response is awesome with the fatcat and t-max.
thanks and keep them coming. I have a hesitation at low rpm and hope to get rid of it with these pipes.
Right now I am using V&H short shots with no baffles, the big city thunder monster baffles didnt help. Anyone else ever have this problem? If so how did you fix it?
