Default Fat Bob - Skull accssories pics

I'm going with the skull accessories; waiting for other stuff on order, but here are a few before and after shots of the few pieces I put in today.

Turns out the air box cover doesn't fit the Fat Bob; taking that back tomorrow. Battery cover band, front caps and pedals pictures coming soon.

Nice work junkie.

You know how good that first fix feeeels.

Get your wallet out,
you might as well leave a retainer with the dealer.

Well, I didn't have a clue just how fun this aspect of it was. I never did anything to my other bikes, but this bike is like an expression of a personality and not just something you ride. Customization seems to be as much of part of owning a Harley as it is riding it.

My wife just rolled her eyes when this all got rang up; friend of hers said within the first year I'd spend $3k on the bike. It's been two weeks and I'm almost there, lol (jacket, $400, helmets, $300 and one more on order); it adds up quick!

That's looking good. The battery cover band will make a lot of difference. I'll look forward to seeing the rest of the pics.

I saw a Fat Bob while out on a ride today. I have to say, I was very impressed. It looked much better outside than on the floor of the dealership.

Stopped by the dealer today for some new parts; they had a red one in, very nice in person (not a flat red). They had a blue one that I didn't care for the color much.

I grabbed some skull footpegs and smoked lenses - here's some more before and after shots.

The air cover I had does indeed fit, they explained how to install it over the top of the air cover; will post pics of that shortly, didn't like the reflection I was getting at the time I did the install.

Problem is EVERYONE is latching onto these skull accessories. Went for a Labor Day ride with my sisters brother and sister in law on their Heritage Softail, and we were counting and guessing how many of those Willie G skulls were on that thing, I finally gave up at about 65, and he just snickered like "not even close". (we're talking license plate bolts, tire valve stem caps, wheel weights, everywhere you looked)
