Solo Backrest
Idid a search and came up with nothing. I'm looking to see if someone makes a backrest for riding solo. Now I know there are some out there but what I want is something rather simple. I would like the back rest bar to be a part of the mounting bracket for the seat. Basically just an upright bar that you can hook a harley backrest pad to. It can even use the rear seat mounting hole if its needed for the extra support. If made to fit the contours of the fender and chromed I think it would look awsome. I am open to any ideas. Would love to see some pictures of solo backrests if you have them and possibly the links to where you got them from! I'm on an 07 FXDC btw

Check this out. I think you can use it for a solo seat. You may have to drill a mounting hole in order to slide it up fully under a solo seat. I seem to remember a few guys on here using this item.

You probably don't want to spend the moneyon a new seat, but if that is not an issue I suggest checking out corbin's saddles.
Not cheap, but have built in/removeable backrest for solo and passenger.
