Or possibly just unhook the PCIII altogether, and connect the stock connectors together. The bike should run, not with the correct MAP, but I would assume it would be better than the sputtering, stalling. Maybe just a little decelleration popping

Everytime the dealership washes mine I find a new scratch. I heard that black hides dirt and imperfections. I could be wrong.

Tommay, you were right on. dealer called today and said i had water and some corrosion where pclll connects to ecm. they wanted to charge three hours (95-bucks an hour) to dry and clean. i told them to return the bike and i'll do it myself. thanks for your help.

I don't know what kind of wash the dealer gave it, but I would not use a high pressure hose on my bike. It can force water past seals, maybe even into bearings. I just mist the bike and wash it by hand, then throw a bucket of clean water over it to rinse. I know another poster said he's on his 1000th high pressure wash, but IMHO, the risk is too great.

Black don't hide **** but it's still my favorite color. You can see every little swirl and scratch in a dark paint a lot better (or should I say worse?)than in a light color. Nobody washes my bike but me- and that includes the hot little bikini babes at the bike rallies and such. Same goes for my SUV and my truck. It's almost impossible to keep a black bike from showing imperfections or to keep the imperfections away. All it takes is the smallest little spec of dirt to get rubbed around on that tank when washing or drying and it's going to make marks that show.

Be sure when you dry and clean the PCIII that you put dielectric grease on all the contacts. Had the same problem on my Bob. Also, when I had Speed's dyno the bike, they moved the PCIII up higher under the seat so it is easier to get to with the seat off, and more protected from water with the seat on. Wayne there told me that this is not where Dynojet says to put it but with as many as they install/tune he puts it up higher.

Glad you found the problem
