Now what do I do?
Well I was getting things ready to do my own oil change and whatever other maintenance I needed done, before I put it away for the winter. Back in 05 when I bought my bike I ordered a official Harley manual for the 05 Dyna from J&P cycle (cheaper than dealer) I didn't need to look at it thoroughly before, I mean I had looked through the manual and used it to look up torque specs on certain things, but only gave a cursory glance at the maintenance section. I was impressed with all the detail on tear down and reassembly in the other sections and all looked very thorough. SO I get it out and start looking at the maintenance section closely and notice that it goes from page 130 to 147 I'm missing 16 pages that deal with fork oil and spark plugs and such. I wouldn't be upset if it was in the section about tearing the heads down or so,since I probably wouldn't attempt that myself, but the stuff I woulddo myself and the pages are missing. Since it has been so long sinceI bought it, J&P cycle willprobably say tough, and Harley has no record of me buying it so they won't replace it either. There may be other pagesmissing but in a section I probably will never use. I bought this wholemanual knowing I would only use a small portion unless something came up, but the only portion I was going to use for sure is missing a good section of its info. Now what do I do. Idon't know anyone else witha Dyna let alone an 05 so I can't copy the pages from them. I'm not buying another one I guess I will have to make due. Another inferior product from the MOCO Can't even get the manual right. Rant over...I do love my Dyna though so all is not lost.
Someone on here should have the 05 DYNA manual and would be able to scan the 16 pages in PDF for you. keep bumping this up to the top until someone offers to do this for you.
Man, that would be cool if someone would be able to do that I could amend the book to be complete. Anyone out there have the manual and the means to do this? It would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah Maybe I will ty thatI have a pretty good relationship with my salesman, ride with him sometimes. He always tells me if I need anything at the dealership to let him know, he'll get me taken care of. Good time to test it huh?

I'd give JP a call. Explain to them you did buy yhe book a while ago, they'll probably have it on your record. All you want is an exchange, it's not like you're trying to get something for nothing. My experience with JP customer service has been exceptional. Even on stuff I returned over a year later, but hadn't used. Or if you have a good dealer, they may also be able to help. All I have is a 06Bob manual, myself.
hey headwolf, while you're waiting on other replies just by chance did you scan thru the whole manual to see if those pages weren't inserted in another section. sometimes that happens.
