i know i have seen talk on here about a 107ci kit that does not requires boaring. i have searched this forum, other forums, and google with so many different variations of 96ci to 107ci and am still comming up short. can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Why don't you want to crack it open? If you really want to add power you need to increase the bore and stroke of the thing. If you are just increasing the bore (like the 103' kit does) you are not going to make that much more torque (think sporster 883 vs 1200, same stroke, 883 actually put out even a little more torque). IMHO the price differences are not so great that you couldn't just wait and save a little more. I'd hold out, but the 107s I've heard about you have to split the cases anyway. I will probably do a 113 or 117... assuming I don't get too impacient. The 110 seems like a good size, but I am going to steer away from SE stuff, sounds like those 110s are having porblems...
Oh, and any kit will require "boring"... so I am assuming you are talking about cracking the case and increasing the stroke as well as something you don't want to do.
If you just want to bore, go with the 103", at least that will keep you under warranty...
