A white Spec
When I went to start her up this morning I noticed a white spec of something in the gas guage... on the inside of the glass...
I've seen water droplets in there before, but this is a white spec, and despite how small it is, quite an eye sore...
How the heck did it get in there? More importaintly, how do I get it out?
Only thing I've tried is a hair dryer aimed hoping to melt it off... nothing, well maybe a little, but I don't have time right now to stand there any longer.
Any thoughts?

Is it a oily like film on a small section? I have thaton mine so I took it in to be repaired under warranty and was told that since it does not affect performance or safety Harley will not fix this under warranty.
They are replacing a front cylinder on mine due to a chip on the cooling fin. It dosn't effect performance( I wouldn't knowhow this bike performs still in break-in)but is an eye sore.
