I have found (as stated already)removing the visor helped, and movingthe helmetfurther back on my egghead. You do have to strap a 1/2 helmet down a little (well maybe a lot) tighter than the 3/4 or full faced to get a good fit.
If I don't strap my 1/2 down tight enough it will tend to "float" over 85 mph, without the windsheild on. That's okay though, because with the windsheild on I feel a lot of drag around 90- 100 mph................ No business going that fast anyway, huh?
Getting to be that time of year, that I won't be attaching the 1/2 to my noggin very often until Spring, and I'll relearn it's little querks again then.
This is one of the main reasons that I like my full face helmet. Another is that I don't get hit in the face with road crap. Yet another is how much quieter it is. Yet another, especially this time of year is that it is much warmer. I like the freedom of the half helmets but they are just uncomfortable IMO.
No sheet! Road crap for sure! A foking bird hit me full face on not long ago;.. if not for my full face, I'd be foked now!
never had a problem with my ACC at all... i bought 4 helmets before settling in on the ACC.... made a few adjustments to it (velcro padding inside the shell) and that was it... fits like a damn glove... been on my bob at nearly 100mph and stuck to my noggin like glue...

i got a pretty big egghead too
Ever notice how everything just seems to smooth out and work well when you hit 120??
Funny you should post this. I just mailed my ACC half helmet back for them to modify it because i was having this same problem ( I actually have a small cut from wearing it so tight for a long ride) They said what they do is move the strap 1" forward, also they are going to reshape the helmet to fit my melon better by squeezing the sides in a bit. their customer service was top notch in their willingness to help me and they offered to do this for no charge ( I still have to sell how long the wait is going to be until I get it back.)
That is the key to the problem. I have a cheap chinese half and no matter how tight I cinch it, it still tries to blow off at speed. The strap is mounted too far to the rear to provide the right force. Maybe next summer I will invest in one of those ACC helmets everyone brags about.[8D]
