Default aftermarket shocks

Who makes aftermarket shocks that will fit an 08 Dyna FXDWG? I'm looking for something that looks stock but has 1" more travel.

not stock looking, just one of the best. You have your choice of Ohlines or ours motorcyclemetal/Penske. You can get them without the piggyback gas reserves also. You can get it custom built with any travel you like.

They look like good shocks. But $420, and it say "shocks arre sold each", so $840 for a pair?

That's more than I paid for my first bike.

I have an '06 Street bob with Progressive 440's on the rear and Racetech Cartridge emulators/Progressive Springs up front. What an amazing difference in handling- sweeping turns better, front end dipping while braking eliminated(mostly), better adjustment for 2 up riding, no bottoming out. Racetech set up the cartridge emulator per my weight and riding preferences. Great improvement in handling, and I recommend it. Jay

What length are your shocks, and how did the mods affect the ride?

Since when is handling the same as ride? A racecar handles like it's on tracks, but the ride will break your back after a while. A towncar rides like a cloud but handles like a tugboat. As for reading the whole post, you didn't answer the length question, either. But I do agree with you on that second point you made...
