Default Another Big Radius question

I have been lurking for some time now; trying to learn as much as a I can before I buy my first bike. I will hopefully be getting a streetbob at the end of the month and may be doing stage one before I pick it up. Is this what i can expect the big radius to sound like on decel???

Yeah, that's kinda similar to the sound of the Big Radius.

Their not the loudest pipes around but they have a deep growl to them, especially on decel.

Good luck!

Mine used to pop on decel after doing the stage one. I had it Dyno'd and they tuned it in perfectly. I don't get that popping on decel anymore, but it does have a nice gurgle to it.

Ryan360....I have V&H big rads on my '07 Bob (perfed out 103") and it does NOT sound like that. Sounds like the guy in the videosnapped the throttle shut at high RPM's....which might not be a good thing to do. What I DO get on mine withdecelat reasonable RPM's is big compression chuffing. I've heard a couple other big bore bikes with big radius pipes do this too. It's a real mean sounding "whuff whuff whuff" sound, someting like a grizzly bear makes when "jaw popping". (Vaguely). Otherwisethesepipes sound like a WWII fighter plane when cruising and all hell breaking loose on acceleration. At idle, mine sounds like a big block Chevy withlumpy cams.

I bought the fuel-pak and my brother and I installed it. We folled the instructions and even called the company to make sure that everything was correct. Haedly and backfiring.
