Just my $.02. That thing has gobs of expensive options on it. If it's the real deal and nothing's wrong with it, I think it's worth it. The WG is the top of the line Dyna, some would say.
Be sure you like the ape handlebars. They are the latest fad, but I personally don't like riding with them. Lots of good riders do like them including a very good advanced instructor I saw with them. Up to you about that.
Good luck. Remember, just my opinion, not necessarily anyone else's.
PS I forgot - in some states apes that tall could be illegal. That could be a bad deal depending...

It's a fair price, but not a steal, IMO.

If you want it bad enough, offer him $10,500 and see if he is willing to negotiate the price. It may help to bring the price a little. As you probably know by know the price of the 2008 models have come down, so this will bring down the price of the used models as well. Good luck in your negotiations! Hope you're able to get it for a price you feel comfortable with.

With the options I can see and at that mileage I would think that is a fair price.

I paid exactly that for my 2002 Deuce one year ago. I didn't think it was a bargain, I just loved the bike. It had more than $4k in options and accessories with it and very low (3600) miles.I figured a new one with those options would cost me at least $22k so I was out of pocket a lot less than a new one.
I also figured there was no way, over time, that the $12k deal could depreciate as much as a new one.
With that in mind, I think $12k is fair but top dollar. I'd have to love it. It would have to have everything good including tires and tune up. It would have to have a proper stage 1 setup to match those pipes. It might considering the bars and chrome lower sliders, etc. It looks as if someone had to know something to do the work I can see. I say that about stage 1 and tuning and tires, etc. because at that price I wouldn't want to spend another dime on it - it would have to be ready to go.
It would have to have a clean, no damage title and no visible damage, etc. etc. It would have to be in top shape.
