Default its broken

Well my 07 SB is at the Dealership, they cant find the problem. So unknown down time!!!
Bike had bad head shake while on the hwy. Slowed down problem went away, sped back up and constant shake that progressed to untolerable levels. It has a vibration in the pegs and bars at all speeds even with the clutch in while coasting.
Anyone else have this prob?

Lots of things could cause this problem and it can be very difficult to diagnose. I had it once years ago and it turned out to be wheel alignment. There are many faults that could cause this problem including:

Wheel balancing (might have thrown a weight )
Faulty or unevenly worn tyres
Different settings on each shock
Faulty or leaking shocks
Wheel bearings
Steering head bearings
Swing arm Bearings
Do you have a screen on
Luggage can make a difference in several ways ie loading, aerodynamics or both.
Damaged or cracked frame or swing arm (unlikely but poossible)

Motor mounts, wheel balance/weights. Sounds like you were nearing the death wobble stage, there. Not a good place to be. Let us know what it was.
